What we learned reviewing 400 event submissions

Every listing on the directory is checked by a moderator. After the first 400 submissions, a few patterns are clear.

• Add the official website. Listings without a public page are not published.
• Use the local time zone of the event.
• Pick a venue from the list or add a new one with its address.

When a moderator asks for changes, you get an email with a note and a link to edit the listing.
